We work with the Monteverde community, local organizations, government institutions and grassroots groups, so they can identify the main issues in the zone and work with us in order to create new solutions with our different programs.
The Monteverde Institute collaborates with almost every organization and institution in the Monteverde zone. We also have representation on municipal commissions and local committees, including planning, environmental education and the Biological Corridor Committee, among others.
Collaboration is one of the most important works for the Monteverde Institute, we collaborate with different kinds of people, institutions and companies in order to reach bigger objectives.
The Monteverde Institute believes that to ensure resilient community action, this must be done through collaboration. This means that we assist initiatives that are ground up, as well as work with partners in giving continuity to proyects. We learn so much from our partners and thank them for the trust they have in our work.
Community connections, decades of experience, and the unique natural environment are the foundation for our collaboratively-designed, place-based, experiential academic programs.
