What are you looking for?
We are an international network of alumni and supporters. During the last 30 years, Monteverde Institute has hosted over 7,000 students and faculty from dozens of universities in the Americas.
Our students and supporters have participated in projects and programs related to sustainable development, ecotourism, Spanish language and culture, conservation biology, community health, land use planning, integrated water resources and social justice.
3. Participate in a Study Abroad course.
Internships are a powerful tool that provide you with hands-on experience in a specific field and enhance your resume in today’s competitive working world. We offer project-based team or individual internships, with the option of integrating academic modules and Spanish classes. Experienced supervisors support and guide students throughout their internship with the Monteverde Institute. For more information please visit the following links:

Immediate requirements upon acceptance:
1- Copy of international health insurance policy
2- Copy of valid passport that does not expire within 6 months of the date of your arrival
